Lusail Circuit Sports Club launched at the end of 2016 the Lusail Training Days and after four and a half years later, it has turned into a major mass activity. The track is open on Tuesday for Ladies only and on Wednesday for all the publicLast week it was held a press conference at the Lusail Circuit Sports Club to announce the partnership for the third consecutive year between LCSC and Qatar Sports for All Federation with the collaboration of Qatar Cyclists for another season of Training Days at the Qatari track.The press conference was attended by Mr. Khalid Al Remaihi, LCSC General Manager and Vice President, Mr. Abdullah Al Dosari, CEO of Qatar Sports for All Federation and Dr. Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, Director of Qatar Cyclists.At the press conference, Khalid al Remaihi, “The growth of the Lusail Training Day has been incredible and we’re very pleased with the increasing popularity of this event.”‘The collaboration between different institutions to achieve the same goal is very important because everyone plays their part where they are specialized. As Lusail, we are not specialized in cycling or preparing the training programs, but we have the opportunity to be a partner with the right people to deliver this full program to the community.’‘What we would like to see in the future is to encourage more the people and one of our main issue now is the awareness for the people to know what we are offering and it is available. Last season, more than 16,000 participants joined our training days with 53% of Qatari citizens stated Al Remaihi.´We’re really very pleased to note that the number of female participants has been on the rise and there is a good percentage of Qatari ladies.
