This year, the hours were extended until 7pm so that participants could enjoy more time on the track under the floodlights. This year the attendance wassignificantly higher than previous editions and it shows an increase of 15% of the total participants with 77% Qatari ladies and 27% children.Khalid Al Remaihi, LCSC Vice President and General Manager, was very happy with the lady’s attendance and their participation in Qatar National Sport Day."Even though the weather has not been perfect for this year’s Qatar National Sport Day as it was windy and cold, we are very pleased to see that the number of female participants has increased compared to last year. This is the third year we have organized this event for ladies and children and we try each year to improve the services and activities available. This year, we increased the number of bicycles available for rent so that every lady could have the chance to cycle around the track.” said Al Remaihi‘’I would like to extend my gratitude to the Ministry of Culture and Sport, Qatar Sports for All Federation, and Qatar Cyclists for their continued support in making this a successful event.  I would also like to thank all the suppliers, professionals and volunteers that added to the overall success of this special day." ended Al Remaihi.Apart from cycling, running or walking around the 5.3 km track, ladies were able to take part in a variety of activities at no cost. Activities such as Pound Fitness, Zumba, Martial Arts, Bollywood Dancing, Functional Fitness and Body Basic Fitness were scheduled throughout the day.For those ladies who wanted to have a more relaxed day, there were Express Massages, Yoga Sessions and Health Workshops available as well. One of the classes featured at the event was a female body-shaping class hosted by Instagram wellness influencer, Reem Al-Muftah.  Her class was made-up of exercises that women should incorporate into their fitness routines in order to achieve a toned womanly silhouette.Reem also discussed healthy lifestyle methods with the participants to help raise awareness on health and fitness.  “I am so proud of women wellness initiatives and events that raise awareness, especially Lusail Circuit as they really go out of their way to use their facilities to help women enjoy our National Sports Day! I’m always happy to be a part of such a well-organized campaign and event’’ said Reem Al-Muftah.“On National Sports Day, myself and my children decided to come to Lusail Circuit and enjoy the most beautiful time in many sports activities. Everything was perfect and the activities were suitable for all ages. There was privacy for the ladies where we were able to practice the sport well. By the way my children liked the basketball and pedal cars by Porsche. It was a great day!” mentioned one of participant lady, Aisha Ali.In the afternoon, women who registered for the Ladies Academy attended a session at the Qatar Motorsports Academy. This session was held in order to help these ladies improve their racing skills & abilities under the guidance of the international Academy instructors. For the children, there were an array of fun activities planned. There were Zumba sessions, Kids Boot Camp, pedal cars provided by Porsche Qatar, bouncy castles and a dedicated area with sport games such as basketball, football and ping pong.
